Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner

I have been using gel eyeliner for such a long time and I absolutely love it. I am big on eyeliner because I feel as though it gives eyes much more definition, and draws the eye much better! I love the classic black but I feel as though it can be a bit too harsh sometimes, especially since my skin is so fair. I have been meaning to pick up a brown liner for such a long time and now is a better time than ever as the days are starting to really heat up in Australia!

I have tried MAC’s Fluidline pots before, but I feel as though they tend to smudge on me throughout the day. I have heard great things about the Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliners and decided to give that a go.

The shade that I chose is called Dark Chocolate Ink, and it is a warm dark brown colour. It is perfect on my blue eyes as the warmth tends to brighten my eyes a bit! I wore it all day yesterday and did not have any issues with smudging or wear, and it wasn’t a pain to remove like some eyeliners can be.

My first impressions of this product have been very positive. It stays much better than the MAC eyeliner, and the formula is very creamy and a breeze to apply.

This eyeliner is $35 AUD, which is pretty much the same as brands such as MAC charge. The lovely lady at the counter also told me that there have been a drop in the price of Bobbi Brown cosmetics in Australia which is also a huge plus!

What eyeliners do you like? Any ideas on what I should try next time?

Thanks Lovelies! Xox

  1. I have heard great things about these Gel Eyeliners too but I still haven’t gotten around to getting one.Dark Chocolate Ink sounds like it might be a better match for me too. Appreciate the swatch and thanks for sharing 🙂
